Here's how nerdy I am. I figured out what is being said over the radio during the instrumental break. Listen carefully and it makes sense.
Throttle Friction Lock - Set Mixtures - Rich Propellers - Fully Forward Flaps - Set 10 degrees Engine gauges and suction - check Engine mix set to maximum percent - recheck Flight instruments Altimeters - check both Beacon and Navigation Lights - on Pitot heater - on Strobes - on "Confirm 38E ready for departure" "Hello again this is 129 decimal 4" "1294, its to go" "You are cleared for take off, winds north at 10 knots"
The rest they are talking over the top of each other and its a bit hard to make sense out of it but its all about feeding in the power gradually and keeping her (the plane) steady...
